Parenting Fail: Meth head MOM let her son inside Walmart while she Napped external drive

A mother of South Carolina is charged with child neglect after police say he left his daughter 3 years inside a Walmart while she slept outside in the parking lot.

Spartanburg County deputies said WYFF4 who responded to a 911 call about a child left unattended in a cart inside the store just after 22 Monday night (August 27).

When deputies arrived, they were told by store employees that a woman was caught on video surveillance leaving the baby in the cart and walk right out of the store.

Surveillance footage showed a woman is also pushing a shopping cart with the girl, then walk away from the basket and out of sight of the camera, the Spartanburg Herald Journal reported.

According to the police report, the abandoned child told police officers that her mother, who she calls "Kim" – was in the bathroom, but were unable to find it there, and no one has responded to several intercom announcements on a child lost in the store.

The police report says that officers found a purse in the cart which contained a portfolio with a birth certificate and social security card belonging to 28-year-old Kimberly Nicole Brewer. An investigator also reportedly found a substance in your wallet that tested positive for methamphetamine.

The child was taken into protective custody and after about five hours, about 3 in the morning, Walmart employees called the police and told them that Brewer had come back into the store and he confessed that he had been asleep in his car ... and when he awoke, he realized her purse and her daughter were missing.

Besides allegations of child negligence, Brewer — that was booked in Spartanburg County jail — was also charged with possession of meth.
