Online Marketing will soon replace reverse mortgage TV ads?

Communicate with borrowers online and Internet generate leads can be the future of reverse mortgage originations, and some lenders are already starting to focus on the growing online market.

One day, they say, will replace television for reverse mortgage leads online.

But there are some clear differences between the borrower and the borrower's online kitchen table, a lender on a panel of national reverse mortgage executives shared on a Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association Conference may in Irvine, California.

Census data indicates that the 65 plus age group is increasing regularly use the Internet. The percentage is approximately 40% for this age group, and is almost double for age 50-64 demographic.

That trend is only stronger, says Reza Jahangiri, American Advisors Group CEO.

"We see 62 to 65 year olds are the biggest lead group online," said Jahangiri Conference attendees. "But they are by far the worst of lead conversion to finance."
