Maturity is one of the most essential traits of leadership

Absolutely. Because maturity at its core is about making good decisions on a consistant basis Maturity, by default, should make one wise. Having navigated through numerous ups and downs as well as having points of references for multiple, probable scenarios should indeed give one edge in future decision making. Hence the assumption. But knowledge of history has little bearing in predicting future, especially the one being changed rapidly by technology.

But after all said, maturity is indeed an advantage when it comes to managing human beings. And within any firm managing juniors (humans) is by far the bigger challenge than developing a new product.

In my opinion 'Inspiring' is the most important trait of Leadership.
