Crazy Old Lady "well-meaning" ruins 200-Year-Old Jesus painting

The image on the right is the result of a mad old bat with "good intentions" that took it upon themselves to restore a 200-year-old Jesus "without asking permission" and completely ruined.

The image on the left is like painting looked like two years ago, and the one in the middle is how it looked back in July, when it was photographed for a catalog.

Cecilia Gimenez, Spanish woman who "restored" the fresco on the walls of the Church of the sanctuary of Mercy, apparently noticed that things had "gotten out of hand" and she did not have the necessary skills to actually do the job properly (uhh ... ya think?). So she was left with no choice but to fess up to what he had done.

Professionals are now said to be assessing the damage to see whether or not the painting can be saved.

Watch Cecilia tries to explain his side of the story below:

"Whoever came into the Church could see that I was painting".
