Evelyn Lozada divorces Chad Johnson after only 6 weeks of marriage

Well that didn't take long. Marriage of Evelyn Lozada NFL star Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson is officially over!

According to TMZ, after being married for 41 days, Lozada filed for divorce from Johnson, arguing that her marriage is "irretrievably broken" (ahh ... ya think?!?)

Since their marriage was so short — a whole month more infamous marriage to 72 days of Kim Kardashian with Kris Humphries short — the PRP have signed before marriage, will not be a problem.

Chad & Evelyn as soon as they were married on 4 July, and the whole thing was recorded for their upcoming reality show "Ev & Ocho" which was set to premiere next month on VH1.

However, in the light of the latter episode of domestic violence at the weekend — where Chad was arrested and booked on charges CDV after he physically attacked by alleged head-Evelyn butting her after an argument that started when confronted him on the receipt as Evelyn a Walgreen for a box of condoms — recently bought VH1 has announced that they have decided to pull the show from their line-up of fall ... for obvious reasons.

Earlier today, Evelyn broke his silence and issued a statement through his publicist, asking the estranged husband to get help for his problems as soon as possible:

"It is with great sadness and a lot of trepidation that issue this statement addressing domestic violence incident that happened last Saturday.

"I am deeply disappointed that Chad was not able to take responsibility for his actions and made false accusations against me, it is my sincere hope that he seeks the help that he needs to overcome its problems.

"Domestic violence is not okay and hopefully my stance will help encourage other women to break their silence as well.

"I am grateful to my family, friends and fans for the outpouring of support during this difficult period."

Chad was also reportedly abandoned by Miami Dolphins Sunday, (August 12) as a result of the accident.

So that makes at least five things Chad has lost in the last days — (1) his damn mind, (2) his temperament, (3) his NFL contract, (4) his VH1 reality show and now (5) his wife.

We think it is safe to say that Chad is having the worst weekend ever ...
