"Ev and Ocho" pulled from VH1 + Chad Johnson was released by the Miami Dolphins after stopping CDV

VH1 has announced that it will be pulling for Evelyn Lozada Chad Johnson's upcoming reality series and "Ev & Ocho" from their line-up of fall in light of the recent arrest of domestic violence in Chad.

The network said in a statement on Monday (August 13):

' Because of the unfortunate events during the weekend and the seriousness of the accusations, VH1 is pulling the Ev and series ' Ocho ' from his program and has no current intention of airing it.

As you are probably well aware by now, unless you've been living under a rock for the past few days, NFL star Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson was arrested and charged with criminal domestic violence Saturday night (Aug 11) after he got into an altercation with his new wife Evelyn Lozada that turned physical.

Lozada, who stars on VH1 's hit reality show "basketball Wives", received a cut to his forehead rather badly (as the result of Chad alleged head butting her), who sent her to a hospital, where he remained for several hours as she was treated for his wounds.

In addition to their reality show is canceled, Chad is personally looking at fines and time behind bars. He also reportedly was cut off from the Miami Dolphins a few hours after being released from Broward County jail on $ 2,500 bond.

Sources say that the veteran player has had an encounter with dolphins head coach Joe Philbin Sunday (12 August) and that when he discovered that he had been cut from the team.
